Shipping and Delivery Information
Steps To Ensure a Problem Free Delivery
When purchasing large pieces of furniture, double-check that they will fit through the property entrance and into the desired space in your room. Make sure there’s enough height, breadth, and diagonal depth for your furniture to fit in, as well as enough area to manoeuvre around corners and through doors.
Before you place your furniture order, keep the following points in mind:
- Plan the optimum route from your front door to the room where the new item will be installed.
- Double-check that all entry points are clear and broad enough to accommodate the desired item.
- Inside and outside your home, measure the heights and widths of all entryways, including all stairways and hallways .
- Measure the widths, depths, and heights of all elevator doors that will be used for deliveries.
- Take a measurement of your entry clearance, which is the distance from one wall to the next through the doorway .• Include all corners, ceiling height, stairways (heights, widths, angles, and bannisters), and low hanging fixtures in your calculations. Take into account any architectural details as well.
- To ensure a successful delivery, the item’s minimum clearance must not exceed the height or width of any of the delivery entryways (including elevators and stairwells).
- Please keep in mind that the furniture measurements we provide are for overall dimensions only.
- You’ll also want to make sure there’s enough room to turn the furniture around if it’s a larger sofa.
- Are there any internal stumbling blocks, such as wall lights, low hanging lights, framed artwork on the walls, low ceilings, or beams? Have you given them any thought.
Important: This is only a guide and does not guarantee your furniture purchase will fit. Also our delivery personnel are not equipped to remove doors and windows to effect access or even open the crates. If doors, windows or stair banisters need to be removed in order for the furniture to fit, you will need to arrange this on your own.
Measure The Space where the Furniture Will Sit
Make sure the furniture will fit in the room where it will be used. On our website and product pages, you can see the dimensions of each piece of furniture. Please contact our Customer Service department or send us an email if you require any extra dimensions.
Furniture in an online store may look to be smaller than it is. In your room, the furniture will look to be much larger. The simplest approach to determine how much floor space a piece of furniture will take up is to draw a circle on the floor where it will be placed. Masking tape or a newspaper template can be used to do this. If you’re getting a recliner armchair or a sofa bed, be sure there’s enough room in the room for the chair or bed to fully stretch.
Know Our Packaging
As much as we love our products and how attentively they are handled and handcrafted in our factories, it is critical for us to safeguard them while in transportation for the goods’ safety, given that unpredictable and multiple handling may cause harm. Most of the goods are protected by multilayer packaging that includes plastic wraps, bubble sheets, foam sheets, and foam corners, all of which are packed in heavy gauge corrugated boxes. If necessary, we pack them with the wooden crates to further secure them. We recognize that these wooden crates add bulk to the package, but they are absolutely necessary for protecting the product during travel and cannot be avoided. In reality, we invest a significant amount of money in the creation of these crates in order to protect the item.
If the packages are too huge to fit through your stairwell or doorway, one helpful advice is to open them below and then bring them up in pieces. To make the product lighter, you can remove the drawers, and detachable legs. These are simple to put together in your living room or the final location for the product.
The Packaging Opening
Please note that our logistics partner has not authorized or allowed the delivery person to wait while you open the products. However, if you see any severe visible damage to the external packaging (carton, crate, etc. ), you should notify the delivery staff and open the items yourself or with the assistance of a local carpenter (if a wooden crate is present) to inspect them. Any product/packaging damage should be shown to the delivery person. We also recommend that you take photos of the damaged goods or exterior packaging and submit them to mahaveermirrortech@g.mail.com along with the Order number, so that we can discuss the situation with our logistics partner. It’s also a good idea to make a note of the damage on the Proof of Delivery Slip or Airway Bill (AWB).
Please note that while we transport our items to over 5000 places across India, we are unable to provide employees to open these shipments.
Important: Delivery personnel are not required or authorised to open or assemble the furniture or goods. Please keep in mind that their responsibility is to deliver the products to the customer; they are not directly employed by Mahaveer Mirrortech and instead work with third-party logistics organisations. You must work with them and not push them to open crates, packages, or other items.
Important: Customers are responsible for measuring furniture/packages, and we recommend that you carefully review the sizes listed on the product page to ensure that the furniture you choose will fit into your entryway and rooms before placing your order. We shall not be held liable if the furniture does not fit or pass through the doorway, stairwell, or other passageway. Please note that Mahaveer Mirrortech or the Logistics partner will charge extra for any unsuccessful delivery owing to such rejection or unavailability, as well as any future attempts to deliver the items.
Assembly Of Furniture
Most of our furniture requires no assembly or only little Do It Yourself (DIY) assembly, such as screwing the circular legs to the sofa’s base or attaching the legs to the coffee tables. Back legs may include a plate mechanism that allows the screws to be tightened with an allen key (provided in the kit with the instructions). If any nuts/bolts or Allen key screws are needed, they are sometimes provided with the necessary spanner or allen key to assist you with the installation. We do not presently offer assembling services. However, if any assembly instructions are required, they are included in the packaging, and the goods are simple to construct.
Furnishing Assembly
The Courier Company/Logistics Partner will usually call you to confirm the tentative delivery date and time. However, because we don’t have direct control over the courier/logistics partners, we can’t promise that they’ll act in a specific way or call you before delivering your purchase. We also ask that you provide us with the accurate address and phone number when placing your transaction. If you are planning a trip and will be inaccessible at the phone number provided before, please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange for shipping and delivery to suit your needs..

Information On the Upper Floors
The huge things will be delivered to your building’s premises or wherever it is physically practicable for them to be delivered. They might not be able to bring the things to your door if you reside on a higher floor. To get the big things to the higher floor, you must arrange for your own laborers/manpower in before or after delivery. Our logistics partners’ obligation for delivering bulky products is limited to the ground floor or the first floor of the building. We don’t have the resources or staff to deliver the heavy furniture to your floor right now. We’ll need your help to put together your own team..
