Packaging and Delivery Information:

  • When you place an order on our website, we will deliver the product within 7-15 days for ready items. We take 4-6 weeks to deliver bespoke things including sofas, furniture, and large lighting fixtures to your door.
 
  • Most products are delivered Monday through Saturday. You will also receive an SMS notification once your package is ready for shipping.
 
  • The Courier Company/Logistics Partner may additionally contact you to confirm the preliminary delivery date and time. However, because we have no direct control over the courier/logistics partners, we cannot promise that they will operate in a specific manner or call before receiving your package. The delivery person will deliver the goods to your building premises  or wherever it is physically possible to deliver the goods.  For higher floors, we are not equipped to deliver the goods to your door step. You are requested to arrange for your own labourers/ manpower to get the big products to the higher floor. The responsibility of our logistics partners to deliver the large products is restricted to the ground floor or maximum first floor of the building.
 
  • We secure most of the goods with thermocol and bubble packing for their safety during shipment and unpredictable and multiple handling at times. We understand that these packing add bulk to the container, but they are very important for product security. These packings may be inconvenient for customers, but they are unavoidable. The consumer should inspect the goods by opening them themselves or with the assistance of a local carpenter or professional. Any flaw or damage must be immediately reported by the consumer to the delivery person and to GL customer service. The Challan/Proof of Delivery should include a description of the fault or damage (POD). Please keep in mind that delivery personnel are not required or authorised to open any furniture or products. Please note that their responsibility is to deliver the items to the customer and that they are not employees of Mahaveer Mirrortech. You must work with them and not push them to open crates, packages, or other items.
 
  • Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through an entryway is the responsibility of the customer, as we encourage you to carefully review the sizes listed on the product page to ensure that the furniture you order will fit into your entryway and rooms. We will not be held liable if the furniture does not fit or pass through the entryway, stairwell, or other access points. Please note that Mahaveer Mirrortech or the Logistics partner will charge you extra for any unsuccessful delivery owing to such rejection or unavailability, as well as any further attempts to deliver the items. We also ask that you provide accurate address and phone number information when completing your transaction. If you intend to travel and will be unreachable on the phone, please let us know ahead of time so that we can arrange for shipping and delivery at your convenience.
 
  • Please note that we retain the right to refuse delivery of an order if the address is deemed insecure, such as a community postal address or a PO Box. If this has an impact on an order you’ve placed, we’ll let you know as soon as we can.
 
  • Due to unforeseen situations, some items may be delivered outside of the listed timing periods on rare instances.

Holding Cost or Delayed Delivery Charges

  • Holding Cost will be applicable to your order if the order is ready for dispatch but has been withheld in our warehouse on your request. 
  • We offer a grace period 2 weeks to hold your order in our warehouse; in the event of your non-availability to accept the order delivery, post this a ‘Holding Cost’ or ‘Delayed Delivery Cost’ will be applicable to your total order value on a monthly basis
  • • We will send you an e-mail with a thorough breakdown of the charges (on a monthly basis) and/or bill you pro-rata for the number of days you were charged (in case its less than a month that the order delivery has been withheld on your request)
  • The ‘Holding Cost’ is applied to the total order value at a rate of 5%. This service is subject to an 18 percent GST. Partial orders held in our facility at your request will be subject to the same policy. The ‘Holding Cost’ have to be paid for, before we dispatch your order from our warehouse.
